Gathering Place
The Gathering Place is the first of its kind in America. It features large and small art installations, wildlife habitats, and a trail system that includes a boardwalk, bridges, and boardwalks. It also has picnic tables, shaded areas, a playground, a splash pad, and a dog park. The park is located at the intersection of South Boulder and Riverside. It was developed by the George Kaiser Family Foundation.
The park was developed on the former site of the old Oklahoma A&M College campus. It is a place where people can gather to reflect, create, and enjoy nature.
It has a lot of things to offer, such as a walking path, a fishing pond, a river walk, a playground, a picnic pavilion, a community greenhouse, a children’s play area, and much more. All of the activities at the Gathering Place are free to the public. You can also bring your own food and beverages. Some of the free events at the Gathering Place include art exhibits, music concerts, performances, educational programs, festivals, special events, and more. This is a wonderful place to spend time with family and friends. The best thing about it is that it is located next to City Hall.

The city of Tulsa adopted the park as a memorial to honor those killed in the 1921 Tulsa race riot. The park was developed on the former site of the old Oklahoma A&M College campus. It is a place where people can gather to reflect, create, and enjoy nature.
The Gathering Place has four major areas: The Living Garden, which features native plants and a river overlook; the Riverfront Park, which has a playground, an amphitheater, and access to the Arkansas River; the Waterfront Park, which has a pavilion, a skate park, and trails; and the Village, which includes two outdoor restaurants, a food truck, a children’s area, and a dog park. There is also a wide variety of programming and activities that take place throughout the year at Gathering Place. All events and programs are free of charge.
